WordPress Tutorial For Beginners

A lot of my friends online and offline have been asking for a WordPress tutorial. They want to have a blog just like mine so they can earn extra money. So instead of teaching them one by one and keep on repeating the steps all over and over again, I decided to create a video tutorial. Just in case they forgot the steps, they will just watch the video again and again until they get familiar with it. Enough said, so Let’s Start.

Here are the list of video tutorials that I recorded and uploaded on youtube. You can post it on your own blogs or share with others but please don’t claim it as yours and don’t re-upload it. Thank you. Videos are a bit boring because it has no sounds. I didn’t put sound effects for you to be able to understand the instructions clearly and not to be distracted by the sound or a song. Please bear with my slow connection.

  1. Thanks so much for your tutorials. They are helpful. Just wondered if you could answer a question.
How do you get rid of "continued reading" in a post?
    Thanks

  2. Oh, sorry, I wrote before complaining about no sound. But I hadn't read the above warning about no sound. Duh.

I do have a question that I cannot seem to find answered elsewhere. I have added an incoming RSS feed from the local newspaper, but cannot figure out how to get it to open in a new tab or window. Any ideas?

I'm also trying to figure out how to set up an outgoing RSS feed. But that's pretty advanced and I'm just a beginner. However, if you could steer me in the right direction, I'd certainly appreciate it.

  3. Very helpful and knowledgeable tutorial. I am in the carpet business and like to give some tips on carpet cleaning and also carpet stain removal. Any question please feel free to send me an email.
