24 years ago, a German boy dropped and threw a message or letter in a bottle from a ship in the Baltic Sea while traveling to Denmark with his Dad.
The letter said, “My name is Frank, and I’m five years old. My dad and I are traveling on a ship to Denmark. If you find this letter, please write back to me, and I will write back to you.”
And now; 24 years after, he finally received an answer. A 13-year-old Russian, Daniil Korotkikh, saw something shimmering lying in the sand of the beach which caught his attention and found this message with an address and year on it(1987).
The boy in the letter was Frank Uesbeck a German and is currently 29 years of age who didn’t believe at first. He said he hardly remembered the trip before and that his Dad was the one who actually wrote the letter.
The two met earlier this month via online/web chat. The Russian boy showed Uesbeck the bottle and the message that he put in a frame. He also didn’t believe that this bottle survived in the sea for 24 years.
During the web chat, they have exchanged addresses and promised to write to each other again. Now, the two are hoping for a personal meetup.
How interesting, isn’t it? That only proves that anything is possible. Just imagine, if you’re going to throw a bottle with a message on it in a beach and will received or found by your Destiny/Soul mate later? Haha! Sweet. :”>
